Dr. Benjamin Maddux is a native of Memphis. He earned his BS degree at Southwestern University at Memphis, now Rhodes College, and completed medical school at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He subsequently pursued a fellowship in pathology at Methodist Hospitals of Memphis, where he also served as an intern. He trained as a resident in urology at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine.

Dr. Maddux has been in private practice in Memphis since 1983. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
