Dr. Robert Hollabaugh is a native of Memphis. He earned his BS degree cum laude in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University. He completed medical school at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, where he also served residencies in surgery and in urology.

Dr. Hollabaugh has nine publications and numerous presentations to his credit. He has won several awards for outstanding urological research, including the Urology Research Award for "Outstanding Effort and Contribution in the Field of Urologic Research" in 1998 from the University of Tennessee. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
