H. David Hickey, Jr.
M.D., FACS

Dr. David Hickey completed his undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University. He earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee and served his internship and residency in general surgery at Methodist Hospital, Memphis. He served on active duty as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Naval Reserve from 1968-70. He then performed his residency in urology at the University of Tennessee.

Since 1980, Dr. Hickey has been a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Urology, University of Tennessee. He is a past president of the Methodist Medical Staff.

Dr. Hickey has been in private practice in Memphis since 1973. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
